Ms. Shaw's Background
Ms.
Shaw is a member of the Pinellas County Estate Planning Council, and assists
clients in estate planning, health care decision making, and asset
preservation,.
Ms. Shaw serves on the Clearwater Bar Association Client Relations
Committee, and is a member of the Probate, Guardianship and Trust Committee.
Ms. Shaw received her Law Degree from Loyola University of Chicago,
her Master of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany, and her
Bachelor Arts (with Honors) from the University of Illinois. Ms. Shaw attended
Law School while serving as a Police Officer with the City of Chicago, and
retired with the rank of Lieutenant. She is a member of both the Florida Bar
and the Illinois Bar, and is licensed to practice before the Federal Court in
the Northern District of Illinois.
Ms. Shaw is an Adjunct Professor at Florida Metropolitan
University, and has taught at Loyola University and DePaul University in
Chicago.
Ms. Shaw became involved with the field of Elder Law while caring
for her mother. She serves her clients with care, compassion, and commitment.
